Gallery Commonweal

Gallery Commonweal is a 1,500-square-foot gallery located in the Commonweal Administrative Building at 451 Mesa Road in Bolinas, California. Starting in 1997, the Gallery has shown between two and six exhibitions a year, focused on the ability of art to heal our bodies, minds, and souls.

The gallery has 30-foot ceilings, large north- and south-facing windows, and unique detail from the historic nature of the building. Though not open during the weekends (only open during business hours and by appointment) the space is used as an events venue, with hundreds of people passing through each year to experience and enjoy the exhibits. Visiting Hours

Generally we’re open Monday-Friday, 10 am – 4 pm. To avoid disappointments, we ask you to call (415/868-0970) to make an appointment to visit. On occasion, sensitive events or trainings take place in the space, closing it to the public. We’ll work with you to find a time for your visit.
