Anna O’Malley

Anna O’Malley is a healer, a mother of two delightful girls, a lover of life and love itself, a climber of trees, a weaver of connections, and a champion of collective evolution for the good of all beings. In her work in the Commonweal Garden, she steeps her being in the Medicine of love, meaning, service, connection, play, dance, delicious food, plant medicine, and the deep appreciation of the wisdom of Nature. Her life long love of nature and the healing she has found there informs her work reconnecting people with the Earth.

Anna also practices Integrative Family and Community Medicine in West Marin. A Bravewell Fellow graduated from the University of Arizona’s Program in Integrative Medicine, Anna is inspired by working to transform medicine. Her residency training at University of California, San Francisco at San Francisco General, and her work within the California prison system deepened her understanding of the social determinants of health, and the beauty of the path of service. Anna is so grateful to practice medicine in a community in which people know and care for each other. Her community medicine practice includes open-hearted connections with dear beings while out and about, chef demonstrations at the Point Reyes Farmers’ Market, radio programming on KWMR, contributing to The Point Reyes Light, and convening community dialogues around community vitality.

She is humbled by the deep beauty of life and is grateful to be alive at this time.
