Lindsay Espejel

Lindsay is the Deputy Director for Healing Circles Global. In this role she has the opportunity to further learn and support the expansion of Healing Circles locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

Her own personal journey of healing and desire for community drew her initially to Healing Circles Houston. The transformative healing power of connection that she experienced in circle ignited a commitment to bring healing circles to nurses as a community of care for the caregiver. By pure providence she learned of and joined the Healing Circles Healthcare Team. Alongside incredible teams, she has worked to transform healthcare organizations and cultures of stress to places that generate health and well-being from the inside out. In the past five years, the Healing Circles Healthcare team has brought healing circles to more than 20 healthcare organizations and academic institutions across the United States.

Lindsay holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Integrative Health and Healing from The University of Minnesota. Her doctoral work centered on the impact of healing circles on nurse well-being. She believes deeply in the power of circle and is devoted to sharing it widely as a way to whole systems healing.

The greatest joys in her life are her two daughters and husband, who remind her daily of the miracle of love.
